Festival success at FomFest, CollaborationFest, and sold-out dates at The Manchester Academy, Night & Day, FAC251: The Factory, and more behind them, this gig is set to be the launch of The Rubys’ Festival Set for 2012. New material from their first album is set be debuted alongside live favourites, making this a “must see” gig ahead of the Summer Festival season.
Heralded by BBC Introducing, North Manchester FM, MMROnline, and Virgins’ “The Red Room”, The Rubys’ video for “The Fear” passed 4,000 plays on release to add to the 100,000 followers on US Internet radio; the love for this band continues to grow.
The Rubys closed out 2011 playing The HMV Ritz with The Rainband and Rowetta; get in on the ground floor with a band that rocks harder than a one-legged Ron Jeremy at a Fluffers Convention.
